Bio

Andriy Zhernovey was born in Ukraine and immigrated to the United States at the age of 9. From seeing his parents start a new life in a new country, Andriy was shaped by unique personal experiences, a hard work ethic, and a deep passion for helping others. After completing his high school education, Andriy pursued a career in healthcare, earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Fresno State. For six years, Andriy dedicated himself to serving patients, including four and a half years as an ICU nurse, where he worked on the front lines of critical care through the COVID-19 pandemic.

With a strong foundation in patient care and a desire to make an even greater impact, Andriy made the decision to transition to law. Andriy attended the University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law as a full-time student, all while continuing to work as an ICU nurse on the weekends. During his time in law school, Andriy joined Dreyer Babich Buccola Wood Campora for a summer internship with Hank G. Greenblatt and served for a semester as a full-time judicial extern to Ret. Chief Magistrate Judge Kendall Newman of the Eastern District of California. It was during his internship with Mr. Greenblatt that Andriy realized how useful his background in nursing was to understanding people’s injuries and in assisting them in their most vulnerable moments.

After graduating with Distinction from McGeorge School of Law, Andriy proudly accepted an associate position at Dreyer Babich Buccola Wood Campora, where he now represents injured victims and their families beyond the hospital setting.

In his spare time, Andriy enjoys spending time with his wife Victoria and their two wonderful sons. They enjoy going outdoors, spending time with friends, and dropping off their kids with grandparents while escaping to local restaurants for date nights.
